The clip quickly went viral on X, with usersreactingstrongly to what the caption suggested.

The viral video gained attention mainly because of its caption, not the footage itself.

The post claimed that Paul accused Leerdam of cheating and reacted by throwing her engagement ring, reportedly worth $500k, into the water.

However, the clip itself does not show any such moment. There was no visible proof, no clear dialogue, and nothing that directly confirmed the caption’s claim.

Despite that, the combination of a dramatic narrative and a trending video was enough for the rumour to spread quickly.

Online users quickly began reacting as if the situation had already been confirmed, even though the source of the claim remained unclear.

Rumours about Jake Paul and Jutta Leerdam breakup and cheating came from Dutch reports

The speculation appears to have started earlier with reports from Dutch media personality Yvonne Coldeweijer, who claimed that Paul had ended his engagement with Leerdam.

“Jutta has been dumped by her fiancé Jake! He is completely done with her!” she wrote.

She also alleged that he had taken back the engagement ring and ended the relationship after dropping her off at home.

Additional claims suggested cheating, but none of these accusations were backed by any verified evidence.

The rumors gained more attention when fans noticed a brief lack of interaction between the couple on social media.

However, others pointed out that Leerdam was still liking Paul’s posts, which did not align with the breakup claims.

So far, no official confirmation has supported the idea that the couple has split or that any cheating incident took place.

Paul addressed the situation directly, shutting down the rumors and defending his relationship.

“Seeing the Dutch media lying about my fiancé Jutta and I. There is so much false information being spread about Jutta in the past years. It needs to stop,” he wrote.

His statement made it clear that the claims circulating online were not accurate.

This also comes shortly after he publicly supported Leerdam during the Winter Olympics, where she won gold.

At the time, he posted, “Juttttttttttaaaaaaaa. I can’t stop crying. You did it my love. Olympic Gold. God is great and so are you.”

Although there’s no proof to this rumour, people still jumped in with their opinions online.

“Haha, cope, he ain’t getting it better than Jutta,” one user wrote.

“Why do people still give this guy attention?” another added.

“Being betrayed hurts, but reacting in the heat of the moment on live won’t make it better,” one comment read.

Others focused on the rumored ring. “Must be nice to not worry about $500K. I mean bro could have at least sold it,” one person wrote.

“Jake acting like a victim after years of scamming people is pure comedy,” another added.

“All for publicity”, some commenters expressed on social media

In big upset, top-seeded UCLA men’s volleyball season ends

Their fortunes changed in a flash.

NY Post Sports An image collage containing 2 images, Image 1 shows Four volleyball players in blue and yellow uniforms huddle together, Image 2 shows A volleyball player in a blue and yellow uniform jumps to hit a volleyball over the net

One moment, the UCLA men’s volleyball players were celebrating a trip to the Final Four.

The next, they were mourning the end of their season.

Bruins volleyball players huddle during their NCAA Tournament quarterfinal against UC Irvine.

That’s how quickly the momentum shifted Saturday night after what appeared to be the winning point was wiped out by an official review during the Bruins’ NCAA Tournament quarterfinal against UC Irvine.

Given new life, the unseeded Anteaters went on to complete the comeback, knocking off top-seeded UCLA, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 19-25, 16-14, at Pauley Pavilion.

How big of an upset was this?

The Bruins (29-2) had lost just once previously this season, with their only other setback coming against Pepperdine a month ago.

“Being honest,” said UCLA senior outside hitter Zach Rama, his eyes reddened with sadness, “I don’t think it’s anything any of us expected just because of how confident we are and our ability to play together. I don’t think it’s fully hit me yet.”

Rama’s attack error on match point sparked a wild celebration for UC Irvine (20-8), which had trailed 8-4 in the fifth set and appeared momentarily beaten after an earlier match point had been awarded to the Bruins before being reversed.

Anteaters coach David Kniffin said he was confident the replay would given his team the critical point because he had heard a UCLA player touch the ball on the play.

“But sound doesn’t carry on a challenge review system,” Kniffin said, “so you never know what the camera is going to pick up. But, for me, it wasn’t even if we got the touch or not, it was about sustaining belief.”

Top-seeded UCLA volleyball was stunned in five sets by UC Irvine on Saturday at Pauley Pavilion.

In the Bruins’ huddle, there was determination to not let the call beat them twice.

“We did talk about being able to move on even if the call was to be overturned,” senior setter Andrew Rowan said, “so do our best to bounce back from a call like that.”

This was already an unusual situation for the Bruins, who were forced to rally to force the fifth set. They had trailed 2-1 only three times previously this season, including a comeback victory over the Anteaters on Feb. 28 that they won in five sets.

After the reversal on match point pulled the Anteaters to within 14-13, an attack error on UCLA middle blocker Cameron Thorne tied the score.

The Bruins then unsuccessfully challenged a kill by UC Irvine’s Andreas Brinck, which gave the Anteaters match point. They capitalized on Rama’s attack error that sailed out of bounds.

As their fans roared in approval, the Anteaters’ reserves bounded onto the court and senior William D’Arcy pulled the front of his jersey over his head in celebration.

Meanwhile, the Bruins were left to contemplate a Final Four that will be held without them on their home court. UC Irvine will play fourth-seeded Ball State in one semifinal May 9 at Pauley Pavilion, and third-seeded Long Beach State will play second-seeded Hawaii in the other semifinal.

“I mean, it’s obviously tough,” Rowan said. “It’s the first time we haven’t been past this game in our collegiate career, so it’s tough. It hasn’t really set in yet.”

UCLA’s seniors had been part of two championships before finishing as runners-up last season. There would be no happy ending in their farewell season.

“I’m incredibly sad for them,” Bruins coach John Hawks said. “We had an incredible run, and I’m sorry to see it end.”

Contentious third-period goal carries Knights past Ducks in Game 1

Ivan Barbashev scored a controversial go-ahead goal with 4:58 remaining in the third period, leading the Vegas Golden Knights to a 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 1 of their Western Conference second-round playoff series on Monday in Las Vegas.

Field Level Media

Barbashev's goal came after the Golden Knights regained possession in the right corner when Anaheim defenseman Jackson LaCombe, who was screening Jack Eichel, and the rest of the Ducks let up while anticipating an icing call. Barbashev had fired the puck into the zone from behind the red line.

However, icing was waived off at the last second and Pavel Dorofeyev crossed a pass to Barbashev, who roofed a shot from the left side of the crease for the game-winner.

"Clearly I disagreed with the call," Anaheim coach Joel Quenneville said. "It was clearly icing, but their guy (Jack Eichel) stopped, which really made me annoyed."

"I didn't see it," Golden Knights coach John Totorella said. "I was blocked. I didn't see it, so I don't know what to tell you."

Carter Hart stopped 33 of 34 shots, Mitch Marner scored an empty-net goal and had an assist, and Brett Howden also tallied for Vegas, which improved to 28-8-3 all-time against Anaheim, including 16-3-1 at home.

Mikael Granlund scored a goal and Lukas Dostal finished with 19 saves for Anaheim.

Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Wednesday in Las Vegas.

Shortly after Anaheim's Troy Terry rang a wrist shot from the right circle off the right post, Vegas took a 1-0 lead at the 3:14 mark of the second period. Howden, who scored only 12 goals in 58 regular-season games, produced his fifth in seven playoff games when he redirected Marner's cross-ice pass through traffic inside the left post.

Anaheim had an excellent chance to tie it midway through the period when Leo Carlsson made a highlight-reel spinning pass to LaCombe alone at the edge of the right circle. However, LaCombe, the team's leading scorer in the Ducks' first-round win over Edmonton with nine points, passed up a shot at a wide-open net to pass to Terry in front of the blue paint. The puck slid past Terry's stick.

"We had a great chance with (LaCombe)," Quenneville said. "I didn't have to say anything to him. I think we all knew we'd like to have that one back."

The Ducks tied it 1-1 with 6:03 to go in the third period. LaCombe drove down the left wing and crossed a pass to Granlund, who ripped in a wrist shot for his third goal of the playoffs.

Vegas regained the lead just 65 seconds later on Barbashev's goal as Quenneville and the Ducks bench angrily protested the non-icing call.

"No. I did not," Quenneville said when asked if he got any explanation from officials. "I was just upset at the call at the time, but that was the play for me. We had just scored. It was a huge call, and an easy call."

The Ducks pulled Dostal for an extra attacker with 1:55 to go, and Marner sealed the win with a length-of-the-ice empty-netter with six seconds remaining.

OT Layton von Brandt set official visit date with Florida football

Floridafootball was included on a list of four official visits set for four-star offensive tackle Layton von Brandt, who announced his itinerary on Sunday.

USA TODAY

The 6-foot-6.5-inch, 281-pound lineman out of Middletown (Delaware) Appoquinimink in the 2027 cycle named the Gators, along with theNotre Dame Fighting Irish,Penn State Nittany LionsandAuburn Tigersas his OV destinations this summer. He is expected to be in Gainesville from May 28-30 to kick off the schedule.

Von Brandt will then travel for a midweek visit with the Nittany Lions from June 2-4, followed by weekend visits with the Tigers from June 12-14, and the Fighting Irish from June 19-21 to wrap things up. He aims to make his commitment decision sometime around July 1.

The First State product's connection to the Orange and Blue stems from his relationship with offensive line coach Phil Trautwein, who recruited him and earned his commitment at Penn State — a school he decommitted from last October. Von Brandt's first visit to the Swamp back on March 24 came with high expectations that the Gators appear to have fulfilled.

“Florida is a great school with great coaches,"von Brandt told Gators Online. “They already have a great culture. There is just nothing bad to say about Florida.”

Von Brandt was also impressed by Florida's player development resources.

“The developmental aspect at Florida with Coach Traut is still a huge factor for me. Now that I’ve visited, I know I like the culture that Coach (Jon) Sumrall is building. I also like the scheme Coach (Buster) Faulkner runs offensively," he noted.

"Florida is really laid out as a place that has everything there to help you be a pro," von Brandt continued. "Their weight room is awesome. I talked to their nutritionist and had a great conversation. They can offer success with life after football. I think about the degree that you can get from a top-five public school from Florida. There’s a lot of pro-ready stuff at Florida.”

The rising high school senior also appreciated Sumrall's authenticity toward him and his family.

"The way he spoke with me and my family, the way he interacted with the players and the type of guy he is, it's a guy you want to play for,"von Brandt told Swamp247. "It was awesome."

Von Brandt recently listed Florida among his top four schools. "They're definitely one of my top schools right now," he said.

Layton von Brandt's recruitingsummary

Von Brandt is ranked No. 64 overall and No. 5 at his position nationally according to the247Sports composite, while theRivals industry rankinghas him at Nos. 75 and 5, respectively. He has 22 total offers, including five other SEC schools, along with theFlorida State Seminoles.

Notre Dame currently leads the race for the offensive tackle's talents, having earned a crystal ball prediction from 247Sports while holding an 89.5% chance of signing him according to Rivals. Other schools in the mix on Rivals' list are Penn State (5.5%), Auburn (1.3%) and Florida (1.1%).

USMNT World Cup roster watch: Sergiño Dest is back, but the real concern is the back line

We have reached the point of theWorld Cup countdownwhere every crunching challenge, every slight limp and every premature exit from a club match is a matter of concern for national team bosses and anxiety-ridden fans.

Yahoo Sports

A late-season injury — or, in the case, of Major League Soccer, an early-season setback — could very well impact roster selections and lineup decisions ahead of this summer’s footy festival.

Brazil will arrive without Real Madrid’s Rodrygo (ACL). France will miss Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike (Achilles tendon). The Netherlands lost Tottenham’s Xavi Simons (ACL). Mexico’s top goalkeeper, Club América’s Luis Angel Malagon,is out with a ruptured Achilles. Spain’s teen phenom, Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, is ina race against time because of a hamstring ailment.

U.S. coach Mauricio Pochettino has not confronted any catastrophic setbacks and, until his squad gathers late this month for World Cup training camp, he will pray it remains that way.

Yes, Derby County’s Patrick Agyemanginjured his Achillesthis spring but was not certain of making the 26-man roster. Holstein Kiel’s John Tolkin (knee) and St. Pauli’s James Sands (ankle) were long shots before their injuries, and Celtic’s Cameron Carter-Vickers (Achilles) has been out since October.

The weekend delivered heartening news — Sergiño Dest’s return to active duty after almost two months away — but also ongoing concern about center backs Tim Ream and Miles Robinson.

Dest, Pochettino’s first-choice right back, was in uniform for PSV Eindhoven for the first time since injuring a hamstring March 7. He entered in the 59th minute of a 2-2 draw at Ajax, leaving two remaining Eredivisie outings to continue regaining match fitness — and avoiding a setback — before U.S. camp opens May 27 in Greater Atlanta.

Should all go well, Pochettino would aim to start Dest in one or both of the last tuneups:May 31 against Senegal in CharlotteandJune 6 against Germany in Chicago. The World Cup opener isJune 12 against Paraguay in Inglewood, California.

The state of the back line, though, is far from perfect. Already lacking central depth, Pochettino is monitoring the status of Ream and Robinson.

Ream, a core player since Pochettino’s appointment in fall of 2024, has missed 4½ matches across all competitions for Charlotte FC with an adductor injury. On Thursday, Charlotte coach Dean Smith said Ream, 38, had a setback in his recovery but should return Saturday against Cincinnati.

Robinson — a possible World Cup selection who missed the March friendlies with a groin injury — has missed three consecutive Cincinnati matches and, because of ailments and a red card, logged just 64 minutes in six weeks. Both Charlotte and Cincinnati have four matches before Pochettino announces his roster May 26 in New York.

The center-back corps also includes Crystal Palace’s Chris Richards, Celtic’s Auston Trusty, Toulouse’s Mark McKenzie and Vancouver’s Tristan Blackmon.

Here’s how the prime World Cup candidates performed over the weekend:

England

Defensive midfielder Tyler Adams started for the first time since returning from a hamstring injury three weeks ago, registering 70 minutes in Bournemouth’s 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace. Adams was a second-half sub the previous three matches for the Cherries, who are unbeaten in 15 straight Premier League games to surge into sixth place.

Richards was slated to rest ahead of Thursday’s second leg of the UEFA Conference League semifinals against Shakhtar Donetsk — Palace won the opener, 3-1, last week — but a teammate’s injury required his services in the 76th minute.

Left back Antonee Robinson’s first start since April 11 was a forgettable one as he struggled in Fulham’s 3-0 loss at first-place Arsenal.

Midfielder Brenden Aaronson was a 72nd-minute sub as Leeds moved seven points clear of the relegation zone with a 3-0 triumph over relegated Burnley.

On the final day of the second-flight Championship, defensive midfielder Aidan Morris — a World Cup roster bubble-dweller — played his usual 90 minutes in Middlesbrough’s 2-2 draw at Wrexham. By finishing fifth, his club will face fourth-place Southampton in a two-leg promotion playoff semifinal. Millwall and Hull City are in the other bracket.

With a second-half appearance in first-place Coventry City’s 4-0 win at Watford, striker Haji Wright finished tied for second in league scoring with 17 goals. He had 18 in all competitions — his sixth straight season with at least 12 — and earned a place on the league’sTeam of the Season.

Italy

Christian Pulisic’s 2026 scoreless streak swelled to 17 Serie A matches — and 19 for club and country — during a 31-minute spell in AC Milan’s 2-0 loss at Sassuolo. Shut out for the fifth time in seven matches, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri called the performance “the worst of the season.”

It comesamid reportsManchester United is interested in acquiring Pulisic, who has one year left on his Milan contract.

Weston McKennie began Juventus’ 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona as a wing back before moving into the midfield.

France

With the first goal in a2-1 comeback victoryat Metz, Monaco’s Folarin Balogun resumed his sensational 2026 by scoring in the ninth of 10 Ligue 1 appearances and increasing his season haul to 13. He also has five goals in the Champions League and one in the Coupe de France for 19 overall — three short of his career high at Reims in 2022-23.

McKenzie logged 90 in Toulouse’s 2-1 win at Strasbourg. Though apparently healthy, midfielder Tanner Tessmann was left out of Lyon’s matchday squad by coach Paulo Fonseca before a 4-2 victory over Rennes.

Winger Tim Weah served a yellow-card suspension for Olympique Marseille’s 3-0 loss at Nantes.

Germany

Usually a right wing back, Joe Scally started on the left and played 90 minutes in Mönchengladbach’s 1-0 upset of second-place Borussia Dortmund. Midfielder Gio Reyna entered in the 70th minute; he hasn’t started since Dec. 18.

Midfielder Malik Tillman entered in the 85th of Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 win over RB Leipzig, his sixth consecutive match without starting.

Spain

After serving exclusively as a sub for the start of his Villarreal tenure, right back Alex Freeman was in the lineup for the second consecutive La Liga match, going the distance in a 3-1 win over Levante.

After starting the Champions League semifinal opener vs. Arsenal last week, midfielder Johnny Cardoso was rested ahead of Tuesday’s second leg in London as Atlético Madrid won at Valencia, 2-0.

Netherlands

In PSV Eindhoven’s 2-2 draw at Ajax, striker Ricardo Pepi scored in the first minute — his fourth goal in three matches, 14th in league play and 17th in 31 appearances overall.

Scotland

Trusty played every minute for the 31st time in the past 33 matches as Celtic won at Hibernian, 2-1, to pull level on points with leader Hearts, who have a superior goal differential and played one fewer game.

Pushing for a World Cup roster slot after missing the March window, midfielder Diego Luna scored for the third time in five matches for Real Salt Lake, which defeated Portland, 2-0.

Midfielder Sebastian Berhalter assisted on the equalizer with a pinpoint free kick as Vancouver drew with the Los Angeles Galaxy, 1-1. Blackmon went 90.

Columbus winger Max Arfsten (90 minutes) assisted with a clever touch during a 3-2 loss to Minnesota.

Seattle’s Cristian Roldan returned from a concussion absence to play 90 in a 1-1 draw at Kansas City.

Mexico

In the first leg of a Liga MX quarterfinal, Alex Zendejas converted an 85th-minute penalty kick to help Club América rebound from a late two-goal deficit at home and draw with Pumas, 3-3.

Between the posts

Matt Turner remained in fine form and recorded his third clean sheet as New England edged Charlotte, 1-0.

Matt Freese did not receive any help in New York City’s 2-0 loss to D.C. United.

Roman Celentano saved a penalty kick in stoppage time before Cincinnati converted one of its own in a 3-2 win over Chris Brady and Chicago.

Tina Knowles Shares the Biggest Lessons She Learned After Her Breast Cancer Diagnosis

NEED TO KNOW

  • She shared how she's since embraced slowing down and focusing more on self-care

  • Tina updated her 2025 memoir, Matriarch, to include more about her journey and inspire others to prioritize their health

Tina Knowleslearned an important lesson after herbreast cancer diagnosis.

While appearing on a panel at the 2026 L.A. Times Festival of Books on April 18, Tina, 72, encouraged those in the audience to "get your mammograms" as she acknowledged that she "missed two" screenings before receiving her diagnosis in July 2024.

She explained it was a "miracle" that doctors were able to find it at an early stage. "So go and get your mammograms — it is so important to take care of yourself," she urged.

Tina also said that surrounding yourself with an "inner circle" — whether "they're related to you by blood or if they're friends" — is so important.

"When you hear the word cancer, it is the most frightening thing that you can ever go through, and you need people around you that are gonna support you and get you through it," she shared.

She added, "I had plenty of people that helped me get through it, but some people are not that fortunate."

As for other lessons that Tina took away from her cancer journey, she said she learned that she had to "slow down" and "stop being so codependent."

Now, she explained, "I just really take care of myself and take time to enjoy my life and not be so stressed all the time."

"That was the biggest lesson that came from this," Tina continued. "It's still hard because, you know, I'm getting on a plane tonight and then I'll get on a plane in two days for one day, and I still fall short sometimes in taking the best care of myself. At least I'm conscious of it now because, you know, you can give and give and give, but you're not gonna be there to give to those people one day if you don't take care of yourself. So that's really important."

Tina, who is the mom toBeyoncéandSolange Knowles, was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer after doctors found it in her left breast. At the time, she was in the middle of writing herMatriarchmemoir.

"I struggled with whether I would share that journey [in the book] because I'm very private," she told PEOPLE in April 2025 of her cancer diagnosis. "But I decided to share it because I think there are a lot of lessons in it for other women."

She added, "And I think as women, sometimes we get so busy and we get so wrapped up and running around, but you must go get your test. Because if I had not gotten my test early, I mean, I shudder to think what could have happened to me."

In the book, Tina wrote that Beyoncé, 44, “took it well, staying positive, and I could already feel her mind racing, focusing on this as a task to tackle with precision.” Solange, 39, told her, “Mom, we are going to take care of this.”

For the new paperback version ofMatriarch, Tina added another chapter to share more of her journey. “I end the book with finding out I have breast cancer and going through surgery, just a little bit about it,” she said at the festival panel. “I've had so many people ask me, ‘Well, what did you do? How did you take care of yourself? You know, how was your mental state?' And all of that."

“I just thought that would be a good idea to update it and just put a paperback out because you reach a different audience with paperbacks,” she explained. “And I love the idea of that because I wanted that to happen, but I also wanted to catch people up on what happened since that time and all the lessons that I learned from having that experience because it was a tough ordeal.”

Tina underwent surgery to remove the tumor in late 2024. She also had a breast reduction — and was given the all-clear as of April 2025.

“I'm doing great,” she told PEOPLE previously. “Cancer-free and incredibly blessed that God allowed me to find it early."

"I want to give people hope," she added of sharing her personal story. "What scares me now is not making the best of every day that I have left in this life."
